Supply Chain Analyst

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in **Onitsha, Anambra, NG**. This role is crucial for optimizing the company's supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing strategies to improve inventory management, logistics, and procurement processes. Your insights will directly contribute to reducing operational costs and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:
Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets related to supply chain performance, including inventory levels, transportation costs, lead times, and supplier performance. Identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and recommending data-driven solutions. Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards to track supply chain health. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure alignment and execution of supply chain strategies. Forecasting demand and working with inventory management teams to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts. Evaluating and selecting logistics providers, negotiating rates, and monitoring their performance. Assisting in the development and implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes. Preparing regular reports and presentations for management on supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices. Participating in supplier selection and performance management processes. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain department. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or a similar role is required. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau) are essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders, are necessary. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) software is a plus. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities is crucial.
