Operations Administrator

Our client, a fast-growing logistics firm, is seeking a highly organized and efficient Operations Administrator to support their daily business activities. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations, managing administrative tasks, and facilitating effective communication within the operations department. The position is located in Warri, Delta, NG , with a hybrid work arrangement allowing for both office-based and remote work.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office management software. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties, including scheduling, record-keeping, data entry, and assisting with operational coordination. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and contribute to a productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain operational records, databases, and filing systems. Schedule meetings, appointments, and manage calendars for operational staff. Prepare and distribute operational reports, memos, and correspondence. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure efficient workflow. Assist with the onboarding process for new operational team members. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls. Manage inventory of office supplies and operational equipment. Support the operations team with data entry and analysis tasks. Assist in tracking and monitoring operational KPIs and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide general administrative support to the operations manager and team. Troubleshoot basic operational and administrative issues. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or operations support role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with database management and record-keeping. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
