<p>The Software Development Manager – Integrations leads a team of software developers responsible for designing, building, and supporting the integrations that connect critical systems across the organization. This role blends strong people leadership with hands-on technical depth, guiding a growing development team while partnering closely across IT, Product, Data, QA, and other teams.<br><br>This position is ideal for a technically grounded leader with a background in integration development who enjoys staying close to the work, mentoring developers at all levels, and shaping how modern integration solutions are designed, tested, and delivered at scale.</p><p> </p><p>This role qualifies for a remote work arrangement within our 7 state footprint (PA, OH, MI, WV, VA, MD, NC).</p> <br><strong>OVERVIEW</strong><br><br><p style="margin: 0px;">The Applications and Development Unit Manager assists the Applications and Development Team Manager in making the technical, operational/physical, and human resource decisions that affect the Applications and Development discipline.</p> <br><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)</strong><br><br><p style="margin: 0px;">1. Maximize the development of internal talent through regular performance coaching, performance reviews and presenting developmental opportunities.<br>2. Align area objectives with the strategic goals of the Department. Develop Internal Communications strategy that supports business and brand strategy and manage proactive and reactive Internal Communication efforts, which may include the directing of outside agency<br>3. Monitor annual budgets for assigned area of responsibility to maximize profitability.<br>4. Provide leadership to direct and indirect reports by adhering to the Sheetz Applications and Development, Sheetz IT, and Sheetz Company Mission and Vision statements.<br>5. Ensure compliance with the Sheetz adopted agile and secure coding development methodologies. Refer to the Sheetz Applications and Development Agile Methodology SOP.<br>6. Ensure that all development teams are using the tools provided to coordinate the work efforts of all development teams this position is responsible for.<br>7. Coach and mentor Applications and Development personnel on the Sheetz agile process.<br>8. Collaborate closely with other IT disciplines to remain aligned on current projects. Fill in the gaps when directed for other IT disciplines when resources are not available from those disciplines.<br>9. Responsible for time, quality and resource commitments made to the business and other IT disciplines.<br>10. Provide evening and weekend “on call/issue” support as needed. Sheetz is open 24/7/365 and as such, our internal and external customers may require support at any time.</p> <br><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br><br><p style="margin: 0px;">(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered.
