You’ll leverage new data and reporting to achieve optimal product availability and foster strong vendor and distributor relationships to ensure on-time, in-full delivery.</p><p></p><p><b>Primary Function</b></p><p>As the <b>Sr. Inventory Analyst within the Direct-Store-Delivery (DSD) Team</b>, you’ll scope, develop, test, and implement strategies that enhance inventory reliability across our DSD business. You’ll collaborate with vendor partners and internal Food & Beverage teams to drive sustainable process and system improvements that support informed decision-making and long-term success.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Manage the inventory placement of F&B category to deliver best-in-class reliability in stores.</li><li>Lead complex DSD initiatives by scoping, analyzing, and developing solutions that address root causes of inventory reliability gaps.</li><li>Collaborate across Food Supply Chain, Merchandising, Store Operations, and other cross-functional partners to execute strategic priorities.</li><li>Serve as a thought partner in evolving reporting and analytics to support DSD execution across stores, vendors, and distributors.</li><li>Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-informed business decisions.</li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with milestones, deliverables, and strategic goals.</li><li>Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders, sponsors, and leadership to report progress and outcomes.</li><li>Drive DSD reliability metrics and coach Level 4 Inventory Analysts to enhance performance and execution.</li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>4-year degree or equivalent experience</li><li>2+ years of inventory management or supply chain experience</li><li>Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and applying strong analytical skills to identify trends and root causes</li><li>Proven maturity and ability to influence across multiple teams and leadership levels</li><li>Strong executive presence and negotiation skills; able to hold vendors accountable to performance and partnership expectations</li><li>Highly organized self-starter with the ability to independently prioritize and take action</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to various audiences</li><li>Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic, fast-changing environment</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Prior Direct-Store-Delivery (DSD) experience</li><li>Experience with Accounts Payable processes or issue resolution</li><li>Knowledge of store receiving processes and receiving specialist responsibilities</li><li>Exposure to modern activation and forecasting projects or tools</li></ul><p></p><p><span>This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs.
