Key Responsibilities

1. ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and integrations based on business requirements.
2. Configuration Management: Perform configuration changes in ServiceNow, including defining tables, fields, forms, lists, UI policies, and data imports/exports.
3. Incident and Problem Management: Develop and enhance ServiceNow modules related to incident and problem management, including event management, ticketing systems, and reporting.
4. Change Management: Create, configure, and maintain ServiceNow change management workflows and processes, ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices.
5. Service Catalog and Request Management: Develop and maintain service catalog items, workflows, and automation for service requests and provisioning processes.
6. Reporting and Dashboards: Create and maintain reports, metrics, and dashboards in ServiceNow to monitor and analyze IT service management performance.
7. Integration and Automation: Build integrations between ServiceNow and other IT systems, applications, and tools using APIs, web services, and scripting.
8. Testing and Documentation: Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions, document technical specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
9. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for ServiceNow-related issues, collaborating with other IT teams to resolve problems.
10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the ServiceNow platform.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, including experience in developing custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes, including incident, problem, change, and request management.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow-specific scripting languages such as Glide API, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules like Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Asset Management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • ServiceNow certifications (such as Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are preferred but not required.
