Health Information Management Lead

Overview<br><br><p style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">Summary/Objective:</span></strong></p><p style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">Primarily responsible for leading Confluent Health’s processes for releasing medical record information to our patients, insurance agents, health care institutions, attorneys, etc., in accordance with Federal and State laws. This role will onboard, oversee and manage any vendors engaged to release protected health information according to established policies and procedures. Drives consistent release of medical record information processes across all Confluent Health outpatient physical therapy locations. font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">Collaborate effectively with outpatient physical therapy partners to migrate existing health information management towards a consistent process.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">Submits requests to medical records vendor for processing as needed.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">Collaborates with appropriate functional departments and staff to investigate and resolve issues related to documents such as accounting for disclosures, record retention, etc. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">Maintain an organized view of medical records stored across the organization.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">Monitors key performance reports to ensure vendor accountability, compliance with HIPAA timelines for release of medical records and prompt resolution of deficiencies.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;">Attends all meetings with vendor to monitor volumes, turnaround times, and other key metrics to ensure vendor consistently meets established service levels. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;
