The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team: Role Overview: We're looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast paced, changing environment. The Senior Analyst, Logistics Data Analytics will be responsible for defining, collecting, and analyzing logistics data to support business intelligence and decision-making processes within the logistics domain. This role involves interaction with various departments to gather business requirements, ensure data quality, develop data repositories, and perform data analyses and modeling related to logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Define master data and transportation data standards.
  • Collect business requirements and business intelligence from stakeholders to inform data needs.
  • Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of logistics data.
  • Develop and maintain data quality standards and procedures.
  • Design and develop data repositories to store and manage logistics data.
  • Ensure data repositories are scalable and secure to support logistics needs.
  • Conduct thorough data analyses and modeling to extract actionable insights for logistics operations.
  • Use statistical methods and data modeling techniques to support decision-making.
  • Integrate analysis results into logistics processes and systems.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations related to logistics to stakeholders effectively.
  • Respond to ad hoc data and analysis requests.
  • Provide timely and accurate data insights to support immediate logistics needs.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related discipline and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in logistics data analytics including freight transportation.
  • Experience in data cleansing, validation, harmonization of large data sets.
  • Participation in system implementation projects, from conception to post-implementation governance.
  • Experience in file transfer protocols.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated experience in project management and change management.
  • Experience with databases, data management and business intelligence.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and modeling tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, information technology and cybersecurity compliance.
  • Experience in architecture and data analytics within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
