About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Dental Administrative Assistant to support our dental practice with day-to-day administrative and patient coordination tasks. This role is ideal for someone with dental office experience who thrives in a remote environment and enjoys providing excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and return patient phone calls, emails, and text messages
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records in dental practice management software
  • Assist with treatment plan coordination and patient follow-ups
  • Handle general administrative tasks and support the front office team
  • Communicate professionally with patients, insurance providers, and staff

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dental office (front desk, admin, or billing)
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet remote workspace
  • HIPAA certified

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working remotely
  • Familiarity with dental insurance verification and billing is a plus
  • Knowledge of multiple insurance carriers and plans
  • Experience with multi-location or high-volume dental practices
