Brand Marketing Manager

Our client, a dynamic and growing consumer goods company, is seeking an experienced Brand Marketing Manager to oversee brand strategy and execution in **Calabar, Cross River, NG**. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans to enhance brand visibility, drive market share, and foster strong consumer engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and deliver impactful campaigns across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute integrated brand marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape. Manage the brand's positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all touchpoints. Plan and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, digital marketing, public relations, and social media. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure new product launches are aligned with brand strategy and effectively communicated to the market. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment. Develop and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, and other external vendors. Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and actionable recommendations for optimization. Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications. Lead and mentor a team of marketing specialists, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in brand management or marketing roles, preferably within the consumer goods sector. Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand marketing strategies and campaigns. Strong understanding of market research, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis. Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, and paid advertising. Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively. Experience managing budgets and working with external agencies. Creative thinker with a passion for building strong brands. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
